Submarine

This project involved creating a 3D model of a submarine for soil collection, which met specific criteria, the main one being to have a dieselpunk style. The project was developed as part of the 3D Design subject and went through several stages, including data collection (presentation), several sketches of the submarine's design, rigorous drawing of the submarine (3 views), and finally, 3D modeling and its respective texturization.

Final Reflection

This project was undoubtedly important to me, as it marked my first interaction with 3D modeling. I had never undertaken any project of this kind before, much less used softwares like Blender, where I modeled the submarine. It was a significant step in my journey. Of course, looking at it today, I realize it is far from perfect. It has several flaws, especially in terms of topology and other details. For example, in the final rendering of the images, I didn't even know how to smooth the normals.

The textures are also not ideal. They were created in Substance Painter, which I used for the first time, just like Blender. In conclusion, despite the many flaws and imperfections, this project was an important step in my 3D journey, and its outcome is something that makes me proud and that I value.
